Work comment

On the cover of Frigel's copy, there is an annotation stating that these two pieces were composed on the occasion of the welcoming of Magnus Lehnberg, vicar of the Kungholms Church in Stockholm (the year was added later, according to van Boer).
(In 1802, Magnus Lehnberg was welcomed as vicar of the S:t Jakobs kyrka [Saint James's Church] in Stockholm; see commentary in the registration of Åhlström's Cantata "Evige! Evige! Evige och gode ande!")
