Work comment

According to Ludvig Norman's text on the title page, this piece was intended for education at the conservatory of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, and the first page conveys that the canon form should lend itself nicely to the teacher playing and the student imitating. The composer has aimed at this somewhat antiquated style of composition, which is also reflected by the title 'Suite', etc. [Please refer to the Swedish page for the exact wording.]
