Work comment

Authenticated work (according to Holm)

According to Holm 'Haf tina lust i Herranom' [HRV 701] could possibly have been intended to constitute verse 1.

This song also exists in two versions with instrumental opening, one for soprano, bass and continuo (no figures) and one for soprano, alto, bass and strings; see separate posts for those versions.
