Work comment

The cover states "Dans le Style moderne et d'une difficultée modérée". Compared to the opera paraphrases by Liszt, van Boom's 'Beautés Musicales de la Scandinavie' might be considered moderately advanced. However, they require a highly accomplished pianist. These pieces are challenging, but the work effort is well worth the while as the music is both moving and entertaining.
