Work comment

According to a letter dated Berlin, 3 December 1875 from Johannes Elmblad to Richard Andersson (available at the Musik- och teaterbiblioteket, Richard Anderssons samling [the collection of Richard Andersson], R.A-n 24:1200), Ludvig Norman had recently visited and on his departure he gave his Violin Sonata to Andersson. It was performed on a number of occasions in Anderssons's home, and was much appreciated. [Please refer to the Swedish page for the exact wording.]
