Work comment

This work was commissioned in 2003 by the Högalid Parish in Stockholm and the following year, it was performed at three concerts in the Högalid Church. On these occasions, there was also an artistic installation by Lena Strömberg. The third perfomance, which was broadcast live by the Sveriges Radio, attracted so many people that it could only start half an hour later than originally scheduled, which, in turn, forced Sveriges Radio P2 to insert another program until the oratorio could start.
