Work comment

The cover of the first violin part, on which this registration is based, shows an inscription, according to which it was most humbly dedicated by the composer to the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. (As the cover is rather damaged, however, the inscription is not fully legible, and the dedication is therefore an educated guess.)
