Flute part
Work comment
When composing this piece, Alfvén was only 13 years old. Two years later came another piece for flute, Serenade. He began taking piano lessons in 1883, and in his autobiography (Vol. I, Första satsen [The first movement; in Swedish, only], p. 82) he relates how, the same year, he came upon a small flute and how its sound enthralled him.
