Work comment

Commissioned by BIBA, Blekinge International Brass Academy, Karlskrona.

In Colour Wandering, a rondo-like form is deliberately disrupted as contrasting characters expand and contract. Micro-intervals distort the harmony, while the music moves between the colours of high and low brass.
