Work comment
Written for Pippi Longstocking's 75th anniversary, this orchestral humoresque celebrates playfulness, energy and discovery. Georg Riedel's Sjörövarfabbe is transformed beyond recognition, while a musical motif drawn from Greta Thunberg's name opens the work.
