Work comment
Endast luft och brus (Only Air and Noise) explores the meeting of the tuba's physical sound and live electronic transformation. Deep pedal tones, vocal sounds and glissandi feed into an expanding electronic sound world, while the instrument retains its distinct presence. The work is a study towards Staern's concerto Sacrificio for tuba, live electronics and orchestra.
