Inspired by Statler and Waldorf from The Muppet Show, Two Grumpy Old Men stages a miniature comedy for two brass instruments. Musical retorts, pauses and competing personalities create an irreverent dialogue in which virtuosity meets theatrical humour. With no accompaniment, every exchange rests entirely on the two players.
