Sawtooth/Square brings the contrasting shapes of electronic waveforms into the acoustic world of the piano. Angular attacks, sharply defined rhythms and abrupt changes create music that moves between dramatic intensity, grotesque humour and a driving, almost rock-like energy. Timing and gesture are central to its character.
